Jaha, tisdagen den 25 mars 2008 tog jag och Ryan beslutet att ställa in vårt bröllop den 27 juni 2008. Anledning: Vi har fortfarande inte hört något positivt angående mitt green card och vågar helt enkelt inte chansa att bruden kanske inte kommer medverka på sitt eget bröllop. Tråkigt med sant. Nu fokuserar jag och Ryan oss på att få över mig så snabbt som möjligt så att vi åtminstone får vara tillsammans. Vårt mål är att detta kommer ske innan sommaren.

Så alla kan då istället i lugn och ro spara pengar till nästa år- får då blir det ett sjudundrandes bröllop i Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

It is a week left of the 60 days the USCIS promised us. Have we heard anything? Not a single word- not even a bip. But I guess they still have 1 week left before they actually run out of time. This process is going slower than I ever could have imagined. Trying to keep my head up och my faith strong, it's hard. I had a bad break down around Valentine's, for a whole week. I had to go to "rehab" and went over to my friend that weekend in order to feel better. There is nothing better than your friends in tough stages of your life.

Whats new? Nothing really. I can kiss seeing my husband before March goodbye. I am shooting for before April this time, before Ryans 30th birthday, I can't believe I might miss that. I blame it all on "we know who"- but don't speak their name out loud. They are actually trying to break us up. That's the feeling I get from time to time. Too bad for them that I'm so stubborn, I keep clinging on to the little hope I have left.

They did tell us that somebody should contact us before by the 26th of February, so we'll just have to wait and see. Otherwise the suggested us to call them back tomorrow.

I will be crossing my fingers - again!

On the 26th of January 2008, Ryan and I celebrated our first year Anniversary. I can not believe that we have been married for over a year now. And I also can't believe that we are still apart. Hopefully that will change very soon. Celebrating our first year as a married couple I started to think about the past- WOW we have really done a lot in our 5 years of being together. Just thought I'd share some fun pictures with you- to help with the wait for my big wedding day!!!

January is coming to its closing days, but how do I know? Its not like I have been counting the days. No, not in January. January 2008 went by too fast, I didnt really have time to stop and analyse it. February is looking bright you guys, last news Ryan and I heard was from the senator: counting from the 8th of January we should be recieving a final decision about my moving over visa within 60 days.

Trying to ignore the back voice in my head- telling me not to get my hopes up AGAIN- I am actually seeing myself with my husband before March. Is that to much to ask for?

The wedding is coming up fast as well, almost too fast. There was a moment there in between Christmas and New Years that I almost forgot about it, so I am back preparing for it!!!! I think the Klagmann wedding will be a heck of a party to always remember!

I have a feeling that 2008 will be a wonderful year filled with hope, joy and love.

I have some recommendations from one of my bridesmaid that if you are flying from Stockholm- it might be cheaper for you to fly a roundtrip to New York and than either rent a car to Chicago or another roundtrip to Chicago from New York.

Ryan is coming in only 3,5 weeks, am I excited or what??  I believe this will be the best Christmas in a long time, our first Christmas as a married couple.  Being together will make it all worth while.  I am almost done with my Christmas gift and as soon as Ryan gets here we will be cozying and snuggling for 8 whole days!!!
